Lotus Hotels | Lotus Bungalows Candidasa, Bali
Bali is without a doubt one of the most famous islands in the world. Known as the Island of the Gods, this cultural, spiritual, and natural wonderland is absolute heaven on Earth above and below water. Lotus Bungalows is located in the town of Candidasa on the east coast of Bali. Once a fishing village, Candidasa now offers a relaxing getaway for tourists who prefer to be far from the hustle and bustle of the island’s south. It’s also ideally located close to some of the best dive sites in the region, so attracts divers from all over the world.
Gangga Divers at Lotus Bungalows operates a PADI 5* dive centre where the highest international standards of diving safety and personal service are upheld. Thanks to a wide range of dive sites, everybody from beginner divers all the way up to those with many years of experience will find the dives that are right for them within easy reach of the resort.
You can dive in Bali on a WWII shipwreck in Tulamben, over sand slopes, off vertical drop-offs and along deep coral covered ridges. Brave the roaring currents around Gili Tepekong, glide along with manta rays and oceanic sunfish around Nusa Penida, or search for critters in the muck around Padang Bai. In short, there's diving for all.
Gangga Divers at Lotus Bungalows also specializes in Diver Propulsion Vehicle diving. You can join our PADI Rebreather courses for Poseidon equipment and learn to use a rebreather for recreational or technical diving. The dive centre offers support to any CCR brand with rental cylinders (US valves) gas fills and sofnolime.

Culture & Nature Experiences
Candidasa means 'Ten Temples' in the Balinese language, and there are indeed plenty of temples to visit in the area. The mother temple Besakih, Goa Lawah bat cave temple, and Lempuyang temple (pictured above, overlooking Mt Agung) with over 1000 steps are just a few that are close by.
Tenganan village, an original Balinese village is only a short drive away. A visit to see the village and their traditions that have been kept for centuries is an absolute must. This area is also known for its spectacular views of Mount Agung, Bali’s sacred volcano.
