What's more likely - to be bitten by Suárez or by a shark?

It turns out that if you're a World Cup footballer you stand a 5,000 times greater chance  of being bitten by Suárez than you do of being bitten by a shark.

With approximately 65 annual shark attacks worldwide, the odds of being bitten by a shark are 1 in 3,748,067, the International Shark Attack File states.

There's 32 teams with squads of 23 players each which gives you a total of 736 players. So far only one has been bitten by Suárez.
