Brothers Save Injured Hammerhead Shark

Two brothers have rescued an injured hammerhead shark

Marcus and Logan Lakos saw an injured hammerhead shark in the shallows off Henderson Beach State Park, Destin, Florida. The younger brother swum out to the shark while the elder grabbed his camera to record the event.

Logan pulled the shark to shore and, with the help of bystanders, removed two fishing hooks and a lure from the shark's mouth.

'I started pulling it in and it was kind of scary, but hammerhead sharks aren’t really that dangerous to humans,' Logan said.

'If you see a shark out in the water, it's not always a bad thing to grab your camera and enjoy one of nature's coolest creatures,' Logan said.
