Video Update from the Misool Foundation

The Misool Foundation has released a new video highlighting their success in protecting some of the world’s most pristine reefs, and the challenges they still face.
Founded in 2011, the Misool Foundation – or Yayasin Misool Baseftin in Indonesian – is a charitable organisation partnered with the privately owned resort island of Misool in Raja Ampat.
The eco resort itself has been active in conservation efforts since 2005, and previously featured in DIVE magazine for their commitment to donate $50 to the Foundation for every tourist who visits the island.
With the reefs of Raja Ampat recognised as among the best in the world for their rich biodiversity, the video shows the dazzling array of marine life in the area, and the unfortunate result of its exploitation by poachers.
The 15 park rangers have had a great deal of success in protecting the region, and the foundation is reaching out to assist in keeping their work on track.
