Win a luxury dive resort in Micronesia
Fancy living the dreaming and owning a luxury waterfront resort and dive business in Micronesia? For the price of just $49 you could be in with a chance of having your very own slice of paradise. Australian couple Doug and Sally Beitz have owned and operated Kosrae Nautilus Resort in Micronesia for 24 years, but are ready to leave the island to become full-time grandparents at home in Australia.
Instead of holding a traditional sale, the couple have chosen to sell raffle tickets, giving anyone anywhere in the world over the age of 21 the chance to win the profitable business, which is located on a remote volcanic island in an untouched part of the Western Pacific Ocean.
Raffle tickets cost US$49, but if fewer than 50,000 tickets are sold, the raffle winner will instead win a cash prize in the amount of 50 per cent of the total ticket sales instead of the resort
Kosrae Nautilus Resort and its accompanying scuba operation is debt-free and staffed by 16 long-term employees. Each raffle entrant will also receive a little piece of paradise in the form of an ocean themed photograph shot by award-winning photographer Matt Shepherd.
