With three weeks left to go in the DIVE Travel Awards, it's time for the last push to see who comes out on top
Unfortunately, last weekend we had a huge surge in fraudulent votes. As a result, we've spent a lot of time going back through the logs and clearing them of any suspicious voting activity. We do not for a moment think that any of the destinations, dive centres or liveaboards are themselves responsible, but we want to keep the vote clean and fair for everybody, and we don't like meddling! None of the votes cast over the last week has been affected and we will continue to monitor the situation in the run-up to the closing of the vote on 31 October. The latest results, as of 12 October, are as follows:
Indonesia, as it has done from the first week of the vote, remains in the lead. The Philippines is in a strong second place but the Maldives has been just shaded out of third place by Egypt
Siladen Resort and Spa's slender lead remains in place over Bunaken Oaisis, while Ceningan Divers and Lembeh Resort remain almost neck-and-neck for third.
Dewi Nusantara and Amira remain in first and second place, with Wakatobi's Pelagian a strong third. Everything from fourth to tenth place remains very close, as it has done throughout the competition.
There's plenty of time to cast your vote if you haven't already done so. Voting closes on 31 October and the winners will be announced at DEMA, Las Vegas between 14 and 17 November. Be sure to keep up-to-date with our newsletter, and we'll post regular updates on our Facebook page.
Terms and Conditions: Please enter your e-mail address to continue on to the voting page. You will receive a confirmation e-mail to the address you submitted, which you need to click and confirm before proceeding to the vote. If you're already registered with us, nothing will change. If you haven't registered before, entering your e-mail address will automatically subscribe you to our weekly newsletters. Don't worry, this service is completely free of charge and will keep you updated on all the latest news, our extensive back-catalogue of great stories, plus competitions and special offers. You can unsubscribe at any time without penalty, and we will never use your e-mail for any other purpose, nor send it to any third party without your express consent.
