DOUGLAS DAVID SEIFERT: BEST OF 2018
Another busy year for our World Editor Douglas David Seifert. He started with an in-depth investigation into the challenges facing the Maldives - from an exponential boom in mass tourism to the ravages of climate change. He sent back a stunning report from the high-energy Revillagigedos and also travelled the length of the Egyptian Red Sea. In between, he filed a fascinating account of the role colour plays in the life on the reef. All, of course, came with absolutely awesome portfolios of photographs.
