Paralenz Launch Updated Version of Dive Logging App
The team behind Paralenz, the action camera made by divers, for divers, has launched a new version of its accompanying app.
The app, compatible with both Apple and Android smart devices, connects to the Paralenz using the camera's in-built WiFi connection. It allows the immediate post-dive transfer of all logged data including depth, time, temperature, and the all-important recorded footage, which can then be instantly shared online.
A spokesman said: 'The team at Paralenz have been working hard on perfecting the new version of their dive log app for their innovative Paralenz Dive Camera. With a focus on simplicity and stability, the new App has been developed for you as a diver, to be able to review your dives with all the relevant data presented in a logical and sleek format and to be easy to share the dive or store it on your phone.'
Additions to the app include a new thumbnail navigation system for swiping through footage recorded during a dive, making it easier to locate particular highlights.
Peter Thiell, CTO of Paralenz, said: 'Our beautiful underwater playground and the importance of its well-being, will now be even easier to share and we will constantly continue to develop and perfect functionalities and features of this intelligent dive log application.' The press release concludes with a notification that there will be 'some very exciting news lurking around the corner before the end of this year.'
