Photo of us

Our names are Hannah Le Leu and Mitchell Romanowski, and we live in South Australia. We began diving in 2016 due to our interest in the ocean and immediately became obsessed with the underwater world. Our passion for photography soon arose as we felt that words alone could not do justice to the unique and diverse marine life.

We have come a long way in the past few years through our interest in travelling and diving. Our first dive after receiving our certification was a shore night dive, without any knowledge or experience with wind, tides or swell (this was extremely dumb and you can guess that it didn’t go as planned... being dragged out to sea in the middle of the night in South Australia with its reputation for great white sharks wasn’t the most calming of thoughts!)

Now we are advanced certified divers, have upgraded to a DSLR (a struggle for a couple of uni students), and plan to photograph underwater life around the world such as tiger sharks and oceanic whitetips in the Bahamas, humpback whales in Tonga, the macro life in Raja Ampat and crocodiles in Mexico.

We hope our photography promotes awareness of the incredibly unique and diverse underwater world and inspires people to protect it!
