Fujifilm XQ1 housing

fujifilm underwater housing with camera xq1 kit

Fujifilm has released an underwater housing for its XQ1 camera. The WP-XQ1 can go to depths of 40m.

Built from transparent polycarbonate the sturdy housing protects the camera and allows you to use all its controls while underwater.

At the heart of the XQ1 is the 2/3” X-Trans CMOS sensor which controls moiré and false colours eliminating the need for an Optical Low Pass Filter (OLPF) and therefore improving resolving power. The latest EXR Processor II also more than doubles the previous model’s processing speed, controlling noise and maintaining image clarity meaning that underwater blues and greens are beautifully and accurately reproduced.

In-built wireless image transfer means you don't have to take your camera out of the housing to send photos to your tablet or smartphone.
