A radical step forward in DIVE publishing
We want to bring diving to life - so we are relaunching our app to bring you a new concept in magazine publishing.
Soon your app will go live with a regular flow of news stories, features, wonderful photographs, videos and much more delivered to your mobile phone or iPad each day.
You get to see all the best in the diving world as it happens rather than waiting for a monthly magazine to be produced. It’s instant, it’s exciting it’s DIVE LIVE.
When you open the new app on your phone the first page will be DIVE LIVE which will be a constantly up-dating of the best scuba stories - you will be able to scroll back and see everything we have published in a given month. New features, old favourites. Top photographers, classy writers. Important news, helpful advice.
This will be free. The diving world brought to your phone every day for no charge.
Each month this stunning collection of content will be archived as a back issue and for a small annual fee you can access all our back issues of DIVE - six years of the magazine diving deserves covering everything from protecting mantas to sensible kit reviews, from diving skills to insider travel advice and much, much more.
You will also be able to explore our content by theme in DIVE FEEDS - Eco for natural history and conservation; Travel for essential guides and inspiring features; Kit for reviews, advice and tips; Skills for essential guidance and safety tips plus Pixel for everything you need to know about underwater photography and videography. All the stories we have published on each theme will be browsable in simple to navigate, attractive pages.
And coming soon will be MY DIVE were you will be able to make your own versions of DIVE. Going to the Maldives? Then collect all the articles we have published on the area in the last six years and take your own personal travel guide with you when you travel. Researching sharks? Then pull together you own dossier of our top features as your own unique edition.
Our search feature allows you to find what you need to know from everything we have published since May 2011 and you will be able to store your own personal collections in MY DIVE. The first stage is our new live app which will be ready in the next few weeks - we are testing it now and it looks great! We will send out an email to all our registered readers (sign up NOW) as soon as it is available in the app stores and you can download it. If your phone is set to receive automatic updates of apps then it will happen without you having to do anything.
