Oceanic's Fourth Generation Veo Dive Computer Comes to Town
Oceanic's new Veo 4.0 is now available, in either a wrist-mounted version, two-gauge console with an analogue SPG or three-gauge console with SPG and compass.
The new version of the Veo is 20 per cent slimmer than previous models, and the display has been updated to feature larger, wider digits. The computer functions in air, nitrox, gauge and free-diving modes, and allows the diver to make use of Oceanic's 'Dual Algorithm' system, with the user able to choose between either the Pelagic DSAT (Spencer/Powell) or Pelagic Z+ (Buhlmann ZHL-16C), to allow for different styles of diving and compatibility with other computers.
As with its stable-mates, the Oceanic Geo 4.0 and air-integrated ProPlus 4.0, the Veo uses Bluetooth to connect to Oceanic's DiverLog+ app, allowing dive data and computer settings to be managed and shared through any compatible smart device.
