Public Consultation to Protect 40 Per Cent of UK Waters
Leading UK environmental organisation the Marine Conservation Society is calling for a final push to answer the government's public consultation to create 41 new marine conservation zones in British waters.
This is the third and final consultation from the UK government, the second round of which secured protection for the 23 sites which were included at the time. MCS supporters contributed half of all the responses received by the government.
The consultation ends on 20 July.
MCSUK has created a form for members of the public to use which will create a letter on behalf of the respondent and direct the letter to the minister for the environment - visit the MCS consultation page at this link.
Alternatively, people who wish to fill out the document completely may do so on the government's consultation page.
