Max Benjamin: Memorial Service to be Broadcast
A memorial service is to be live-streamed for diving pioneer Max Benjamin who died last week aged 72.
The family announced that the service will be held at the Cairns Colonial Club on Wednesday 29 July at 10 am (1 am BST London, 5 pm Tuesday 28 July PDT Los Angeles).
Max was the founder of the renowned Walindi Diving Resort in New Britain in Papua New Guinea and, along with his wife Cecilie, a passionate ambassador for the diving in Kimbe Bay. Photographers, film-makers, scientists and other friends and colleagues have paid tribute to Max's contribution to diving and to PNG.
