Vote for Wildlife Photographer of the Year

Have your say in who wins the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition.

A new publicly decided category, the People’s Choice Award, has been introduced to recognise the high standard of this year’s entries and the competition’s landmark fiftieth year.

The new category offers 50 images, pre-selected by the jury from more than 41,000 entries from almost 100 countries, for a global online vote.

The winner of the People’s Choice Award will be a part of the 2014 collection of the world’s best images of nature, adding to the 100-strong portfolio chosen by the judges. The Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition goes on display at the Natural History Museum in London on 24 October before embarking on an international tour.

The 50 images include several underwater photos taken by divers, including these images of Australian sea lions taken by Michael Patrick O'Neill and a whale shark by Adriana Basques. They're our pick, but what would you choose?
