Mass Dive Celebrates 'Zenobia Week'

150 scuba divers celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Zenobia sinking in Cyprus

More than 150 scuba divers joined together on Sunday 28 June 2015 for a mass dive on the world-famous shipwreck of the Zenobia, a Swedish roll-on-roll-off ferry, sunk off the port of Larnaka in Cyprus in June 1980.

Celebrating ‘Zenobia Week’ divers from around the world marked the 35th year of her sinking by descending onto the vessel en masse.

The 42m-deep wreck - considered to be one of the top ten wrecks in the world - lies on her port side rising up to within 16 metres of the surface.
