Aggressor Adventures Offers 37 Per Cent Discount For 37 Year Anniversary
Aggressor Adventures has announced it will offer special customer discounts to celebrate its 37th birthday. The scuba diving liveaboard specialist has also said it is to 'double-down' on its commitment to the environment.
With the Covid-19 pandemic severely affecting international travel and tourism, and the dive industry in particular, Aggressor Adventures immediately turned its attention to proactive, 'customer-first' initiatives including increased attention to sanitation, social distancing and staff training. Aggressor also worked with its staff to keep its customers engaged with a series of virtual 'Zoom Into Adventure' presentations and social media campaigns, which it credits for a return to bookings as soon as diving destinations became open for business.
'We are grateful for the strong sense of trust we have developed over the years with our loyal customers. We remain service-driven, staying the course for delivering truly once-in-a-lifetime experiences and extraordinary adventures,' said Wayne Brown, CEO of Aggressor Adventures. 'We continue to identify new methods of engaging and building loyalty with our customers. As we look back on the past year, we could not be prouder of what we accomplished, especially given the challenges the industry faced.'
As a 'thank you' to customers - and to help potential guests with the financial burden of the pandemic - Aggressor has announced a special 37th Anniversary promotion for new reservations. The discount offers of 37 per cent savings begin on 16 November 2020 for new reservations, available for travel from 19 November 2020 until 19 November 2021 on a range of different Aggressor Adventures itineraries.
In 2020, Aggressor Adventures Green the Fleet programme undertook a successful international shoreline clean-up involving 170 hours of staff volunteers' time, which saw 800lbs (363kg) removed from a 2.55 mile (6.6sq km) area. Aggressor has stated that its goal for 2021 'is is to empower adventurers everywhere to clean up 3,700 pounds of trash from the world’s shorelines to further prioritize sustainability through community awareness, stewardship, and action,' and is inviting divers to join their efforts during the next year.
'As global adventurers, we witness first-hand the impact pollution has on our environment, especially in our oceans. It’s our responsibility to change that,' said Brown. 'For the 2021 clean-up, rather thanorganizing specific sites and to avoid large group gatherings, the company encourages divers, explorers, and ocean lovers everywhere to regularly to pick up trash at their beach, river, or in their neighbourhoods and record their cleanup totals to share with us on social media, so each individual effort is counted in the grand total for the year.'
As part of its commitment to the future of the travel and tourism industry, Aggressor has also partnered with Georgia State University’s Cecil B. School of Hospitality, offering a $3,700 scholarship for one of the school's 'most deserving' students during the spring 2021 semester.
'This kind of financial commitment is a game-changer for one of our hospitality students,' said Debby Cannon, Director of the Cecil B. Day School of Hospitality. 'Our student body is resilient and committed to their education, but many have struggled financially during the pandemic. We could not be more grateful for Aggressor Adventures commitment and trust in our hospitality program. The future of the travel industry is bright with leaders like Wayne Brown paving the way for young minds.'
