Mayen, from Manila, Philippines, has been fascinated with the underwater world since a trip to Coron, Palawan in 2017, where she was awestruck by the coral reefs and the vast range of marine life. Since then she has explored other dive destinations in the Philippines and further afield.

She started recording her trips on a GoPro Hero 4 and uploading them to YouTube. She has upgraded to a Sony mirrorless set-up in Saltedline housing and uses a Go Pro Hero 7 as a second camera.
