Fiji Tourism Authority Announces Borders Will Open For Vaccinated Travellers
Following in the wake of the news that the UK is easing travel restrictions and ditching most of its 'Red List' of countries, the island nation of Fiji has announced that it will be opening its borders to fully-vaccinated UK visitors from 1 December.
Under the new regulations, all visitors over the age of 12 will need to be fully vaccinated and also present a negative PCR test result received no more than 3 days prior to boarding their flight to Fiji. Fiji currently recognises the Astra-Zeneca, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson and Moderna vaccines.
A statement on the Fiji Tourism Website reads:
Fiji will initially offer quarantine-free travel to fully vaccinated travellers from Travel Partner countries. Currently these are Australia, New Zealand, United States of America, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Canada, Qatar, Germany, Spain, France, Republic of Korea, Japan, Singapore, Switzerland and most Pacific Island Countries and Territories.
Once you arrive, you can holiday safely and enjoy the best of Fiji knowing that when sticking to Care Fiji Committed businesses, everyone you interact with will be fully vaccinated
